These Terms of Service apply to Davenport Wash & Fold and its website, pickup requests, pickup confirmations, wash-and-fold service and commercial towel or small-linen services. By requesting pickup, scheduling service or using this website, you agree to these terms unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Davenport Wash & Fold serves households, gyms and local businesses. Our service is not a self-serve laundromat, dry cleaner or medical waste service.
Services
Davenport Wash & Fold provides pickup, wash, dry, fold and delivery for household laundry, towel bags and small washable linens used by businesses such as salons, spas, massage clinics, wellness studios, gyms and clinics.
Service availability depends on pickup area, textile type, volume, pickup frequency and account setup. Submitting a form does not guarantee service acceptance.
Pickup Requests, Pricing and Service Plans
Pickup recommendations, pricing and quotes are based on the information available at the time, including bag size, estimated volume, pickup frequency, textile type and service area. Pricing may change if the actual volume, handling requirements or service scope differ from the original request.
Household customers may start with a small or large bag. Business customers may start with a Care Plan if they own their towels or linens. Managed Linen and Branded Linen options may involve additional setup, supply, sourcing, replacement, inventory or care requirements that must be confirmed separately.
For prepaid pickup orders, the customer selects a bag size before pickup. Small Bag and Large Bag pricing is based on reasonable use of the supplied bag and the listed weight guide. The bag should close comfortably and remain safe to carry.
If a bag is overfilled, cannot close properly, exceeds the listed weight guide, includes unusually heavy items, or needs to be split for safe handling or proper washing, Davenport Wash & Fold may bill the order as the next bag size, add an overage, add an extra bag charge, or contact the customer before processing.
Pickup and Delivery
Pickup and delivery windows are scheduled in good faith but may be affected by traffic, weather, building access, pickup changes, equipment issues or other operational delays. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
Customers are responsible for making pickup bags available during the agreed window and providing accurate access instructions. Missed pickups, locked doors, unavailable bags, incorrect addresses or late changes may result in delays or additional charges.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Send only approved washable laundry, towels and small linens unless otherwise agreed
- Keep non-service items, personal items and valuables out of pickup bags
- Identify special-care, heavily stained, delicate or non-standard items before pickup
- Separate items with heavy chemical exposure, biohazard risk, sharps or unsafe contamination
- Provide accurate contact, address, access and billing information
- Pay invoices by the agreed due date
Items We May Decline
We may decline, return or separately handle items that are unsafe, contaminated, hazardous, excessively soiled, damaged, wet beyond ordinary use, affected by pests, chemically exposed, mixed with sharp objects, or unsuitable for standard commercial wash-and-fold processing.
Textile Care, Stains and Wear
Commercial towels and linens wear over time. Some stains, discolouration, odours, product residue, bleach marks, dye transfer, fabric thinning, fraying or pre-existing damage may not be removable or reversible. We will use reasonable care, but we do not guarantee that every stain, odour or mark can be removed.
Customers remain responsible for choosing textiles suitable for commercial laundering and for removing items that require special treatment or manufacturer-specific care.
Loss, Damage and Claims
If you believe an item was lost or damaged by our service, notify us as soon as possible and provide available details, including pickup date, item type and supporting photos where possible. Claims may be limited if items were not clearly identified, were already worn or damaged, were unsuitable for standard laundering, or were reported after the account has continued through additional pickups.
Any replacement or account credit, if offered, will be determined based on the reasonable depreciated value of the item and the circumstances of the service. Davenport Wash & Fold is not responsible for cash, valuables, personal items or non-service items left in pickup bags.
Payment and Invoicing
Payment terms, invoice timing and accepted payment methods will be confirmed with each customer. We may use Square or another payment provider for invoices and payment processing. Late, failed or unpaid invoices may result in paused service, cancelled pickup windows or collection steps.
Unless otherwise agreed, prices do not include taxes, special handling charges, replacement supplies, reusable bag replacement, rush service, extra pickups, extra bags, overfilled bag charges, missed pickup fees, branded linen sourcing or inventory purchases.
Discount codes, offers and wallet-card benefits apply only as stated. Unless specifically noted, they apply to regular bag service and may not apply to taxes, overages, extra bags, next-day turnaround, missed pickup fees, special handling, replacement charges or commercial service.
Changes, Pauses and Cancellations
Customers should provide reasonable notice for pickup changes, pauses, added volume or cancellation requests. We may adjust schedules based on availability. Recurring service may be paused or ended by either party if the service no longer fits the account standing, volume or handling requirements.
Website and Pickup Forms
Website content is provided for general service information. It does not create a service contract, franchise, partnership or guarantee of availability. Pickup forms, confirmation pages and website tools may be changed, paused or removed at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Davenport Wash & Fold will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from website use, service delays, missed pickups, textile wear, unavailable service, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow that limit.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be handled in Ontario unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires another forum.
